Kristers is a senior associate and assistant attorney-at-law with over 8 years of legal experience, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as commercial and corporate law matters.

Kristers has considerable experience and has advised a wide range of international and domestic clients on complex corporate law and corporate governance matters, including acquisitions of capital and assets, incorporations, reorganizations and liquidations of companies, as well as holds a wealth of experience in legal due diligence. His experience in transactions covers various industries, from classic M&A transactions of manufacturing and service companies to complex IT, start-up and fintech capital raising transactions. Kristers has advised dozens of transactions both in Latvia and abroad, several of which have received Baltic or international recognition.

In addition to the above experience, Kristers also specializes in commercial and administrative disputes, as well as represents clients in domestic and international criminal cases related to international sanctions, money laundering, fraud, insolvency and other economic and tax issues.

Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, Kristers practiced at one of the largest law firm associations in the Baltics.

Kristers graduated from the University of Latvia with a master's degree in social sciences in law and lawyer’s qualification.

Kristers has been a member of the Latvian Bar Association since 2021.
